As Israel intensifies its ground offensive in Gaza, amid serious humanitarian concerns, its former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has told Euronews: "the war must go on" until Israel reaches its endgame: the end of Hamas.

The US is just using the same 'intelligence' Israel has, there's no evidence they've got their own sources (or they wouldn't have been surprised by Oct 7).

If Hamas had enough opsec to secretly prepare an attack with thousands of fighters, there's no reason anything would've changed afterwards.
