For me it's the Batteries Regulations.

It includes things like:

  • Replaceable batteries that is "easy for consumers to remove/replace" in devices like smartphones, tablets and cameras by 2027.

  • Recycling "of critical raw materials such as cobalt, lithium and nickel" in batteries will be prioritised and developed further by 2025.

Let me hear yours. It can be anything, and also regulations from the past which came into effect in 2023.

It’s not been done this year in particular but it’s always nice to be able to travel visa free (and without ID checks at the borders) through Europe. Made my trip to Croatia much nicer.

It's unfortunately not the case right now :(. I was woken up in the night train in Freilassing at 3AM for German Passport Control. Also there are passport checks in Place between Hungary and Austria and Slovakia and Austria and sometimes between Slovakia and Czechia
