Yeah, I remember my first girlfriend having to explain to me the concept of occasional discharge. Right before menstruation, vaginas often get super wet but it's a little thicker than typical horny wetness. This can sometimes feel like the sensation of bleeding so it can be surprising to check and find that it's not blood. For me, I also get extremely horny around this time.
