I’ve been to Anthrocon. Normal people love furries. Pittsburgh literally turns out with their kids to watch the furry parade and take pictures with fur suiters, lol.

Dressing up as a cartoon animal is the most Disney level hobby imaginable, disconnect from 2003-era 4chan.
