Also, I'm a bit surprised it took them that long, does anybody know why Orthodox is harder on those matters than Catholic?
I'm always surprised that no one has a problem with this, it's like, "hey, why does it bother you who your neighbor sleeps with, leave him alone, it doesn't affect you at all."
In any case, I think that the Orthodox are not harder on this than the Catholics, it's just that they are more religious people in general.
Ah, might be. My experience with Orthodox is limited to one wedding in Greece, people seemed a bit more religious indeed
