My day is worsened by seeing this. Absolute creep behavior, sending your cop to a girls house to harass her.

I thought the ridiculousness of the situation was the joke.
Yeah, cops pull favors for friends and family all the time. This doesn't read as comically absurd.
Edit: geez I just fixed a bunch of typos...
How it's written combined with the title and it being posted to Twitter doesn't seem like your run-of-the-mill favour stuff but rather makes me think it's made for a joke.
Unfortunately I know people who 100% would have done that in our younger years. Proportionality is just a fancy word to them.

This may be a joke, since it somehow ended up on Twitter, but I'd be willing to bet this has happened many times regardless.
