Reason I went for two, 16GB sticks instead of one 32GB stick is in my mind - 2 RAM sticks can send memory faster than 1 stick, ya? (Who knows, but yolo)

I don't have the experience to confirm if your hardware can take advantage of that, but maybe?

With a TDP of 35 W, the Ryzen 7 7840HS consumes only little energy. AMD's processor supports DDR5 memory with a dual-channel interface.

Downside being that it's harder to upgrade to 64Gb later on if you only have two slots.
