I tried that game. I didn't even get out of the bot training matches because my teammates in that were so disgustingly toxic over the fact that I wasn't good at the game yet.
Literally training matches against bots.
I love league, been playing it since season one. I literally never recommend it to anyone. If anyone wants to get in willingly I just nod and let them know I'm down to play if they are. I don't even try to teach them or anything unless they ask a question. You have to be here for the flames willingly, otherwise it's not worth your time to try and play cause friends play. The worst flamers are low elo and high elo. It's mostly OK in the middle and league has really stepped up their ban hammer in the past couple months.
Me 5 seconds into Dota 2:
Toxic player: l2 play Drow!!
I never uninstalled a game that fast.
DotA is where people who get banned from League for being toxic end up.
Just curious... What does that mean? (I've never played a MOBA)
l2 play = learn to play
drow = one of the characters in Dota 2
Ah, I should have guessed. Thanks!
(I was thinking they were maybe asking you to play a particular character at a particular level or something and it was objectionable for some reason.)
Yeah, those types exist in every game. I have thousands of games in Dota and still find them. I've always wondered what they think they're going to achieve by being a dick to their teammates. Because they're just giving me all the reason in the world to make sure the other team wins.
