To this day, hearing the words "badger", "mushroom", and "snake" will often be enough for me to get that song stuck in my head.

Same, and also "narwhal".

There's a part of me that's ashamed that I remember the entire thing. Then I remind myself that I also remember all the words to "Oh No You Didn't", and I just climb into the shamehole of my own volition.

Edit: To add the link, someone else will suffer with me.

wAIT IT WAS A SONG???? i just thought it was a random catchphrase or something

[-] NakariLexfortaine@lemm.ee 3 points 5 months ago

If I remember right, it was a kinda a quiet thing? I think some of the Mercenaries 2 promotional stuff had links to download the song, but I don't remember any real fanfare over it.

Which is kinda sad, because it's surprisingly catchy in its own goofy fashion.

Is it because it is good to us?

[-] bobs_monkey@lemm.ee 7 points 5 months ago* (last edited 5 months ago)

Because it's close to us!

The good to us was from the Quiznos commercial

I mean, in hindsight they were. He sent a cow forward in time to witness Lemmy, then brought him back to report what he saw.
