I don’t believe they’re endangered, so I’m guessing if it meant Steve could watch his kids grow up and live a long happy life with his wife, he’d happily encourage you to cap a single stingray.
I could be wrong, however.
I don't think Steve would happily encourage you to cap a single anything. If he knew it was the only option he may turn away and let you do what you needed to do. But he wouldn't be happy about it.
Right? You'd do more good than bad here. It may not be what he wants, but his work is not over.
He knew the risks every time. Sooner or later he had to lose at Russian Roulette.
