It's actually pretty easy to make carbon neutral fireworks, since it's only dependent on the energy put into the system and black powder historically used charcoal as it's fuel source which is renewable.

But that carbon wouldn't be in the air otherwise, so not good. Reduce, reuse, recycle.

Unless you're planting trees and then cutting them down to bury them, it absolutely would.

Only if it's virgin forest. I said it could be carbon neutral which would imply tree farming. The only way you can sequester carbon with trees is literally burying them.
