Last night was the first night where I slept with the window closed in a good while, it'll be a good bit before the heatings back on but it's coming

Don't know what you're talking about. I've been in my big boots, jeans and leather jacket all "Summer" except last week and I only regretted it once, in a Moshpit at a Limp Bizkit gig.
Got a young baby and bought those smart radiator valves so I can turn on just her bedroom... I'm still classing it as i've not turned it on yet.
