I have CAA (Canadian version of AAA) and when I had a flat the other day, it was a frustrating process to get help.

For one, the CAA app doesn't have a bike option when selecting roadside assistance, despite the plan clearly offering services for cyclists.

When I called, they said that towing is the option available! I just needed my flat fixed, so I could go on about my day. I ended up asking my wife to bring me a tube, but it really left me second guessing my membership.

Hopefully, AAA is better.

Last time I had a problem (tube exploded in my folding fatbike and I didn't have a spare at the time) I called my GF for a ride and tossed my bike in her back seat. I would've been kinda screwed if I was riding my regular bike that day because she doesn't have a bike rack and my car was in the shop.

Yeah, that's one reason why I like my folding bike. When I got my flat last week, I did have a patch kit, but it was garbage and didn't hold. I do have spare tubes, but they were in a different bag than what was on my bike that day. Murphy's Law!
