Would you select the rightmost square in the second row? There is a bit of the suit in the corner?

Anyway, I frequently fail captchas because I apparently don't know what a bus is.

It's not actually looking for you to be 100% correct. It's watching your behavior with the mouse cursor. If you get it mostly correct and also your mose moves in a human way, it will clear the captcha. Computers can read text and recognize contents of photos now. It's likely you're too quick and direct with your mouse movements or you take way too long between mouse movements.

Thank you, I had been using my touch screen for these.

This captcha only has 2 fascist free cells.

It's a sandwich where the bread is on the inside and the meat on the outside, right?

i feel like i’m in the upsidedown too, bible_that_trump_has_never_touched_before_or_since

[-] SatansMaggotyCumFart@lemmy.world 14 points 5 months ago

He’s holding it like that so people can’t see it’s actually Mein Kampf.

To be fair, it was printed upside down.

[-] vonbaronhans@midwest.social 15 points 5 months ago

What does "gassed" in this context mean?

[-] Empricorn@feddit.nl 44 points 5 months ago

Literal, in this case. He tear-gassed peaceful protestors at a church to take this photo op of him looking "godly".

[-] MoonMelon@lemmy.ml 8 points 5 months ago* (last edited 5 months ago)

This isn't quite right. The cops tear-gassed Lafayette square, not the church. My spouse was there. Glad this gets acknowledged now because they were trying to claim no gas was used at first.

Also, as mentioned in your link, Trump wanted to shoot everybody because he was butthurt about being called "bunker boy". The gas was actually a compromise.

Oh also, notice how that link mentions deploying Bureau of Prisons police? It's because those fuckers are sadistic. And that's compared to regular cops. They can't wait to be Brown shirts.

I was just about to ask the same question.

Weird that somebody felt the need to downvote you for asking it though. Perfect example of why I think downvotes shouldn't even be a thing

[-] fubbernuckin@lemmy.world 3 points 5 months ago

Downvotes should absolutely be a thing. I don't want to see Nazi posting with massive numbers of upvotes making its way into my feed because nobody can downvote it.

I definitely get where you're coming from, but I really doubt that would turn into a problem if downvotes were generally disabled on Lemmy – after all, it's not a problem on Lemmy instances that already have downvotes disabled.

One problem with downvotes on Lemmy is that people who browse All do have a real tendency to downvote posts in niche communities that they're not even members of, and I've seen it happen a few times that smaller / niche communities will generally have a bunch of downvotes on their posts even though it's not the members doing it and this is why some instances I'm on have specifically disabled downvotes.

It's often said that downvotes shouldn't be used for content you disagree with, just for things that don't "add to the discussion" (whatever that means), but the reality is that that's simply not how people use them. Only allowing upvotes means that generally the "Nazi-adjacent" stuff is still very low in sort orders because it doesn't get upvoted as much as everything else, and it prevents knee-jerk downvote waves where unpopular stuff just gets downvoted because it's already in the negatives so it must be bad. And remember that the putative Nazis can also downvote; what's to stop them from mass-downvoting smaller LGBT+ community posts?

Also, on my other accounts I've had multiple cases of me pissing off eg. a Musk fan or whoever and they then go into my profile page and downvote everything – one fucking weirdo went far enough to apparently write a script for it so they could downvote all my historical stuff and all my new comments and posts as I made them.

Wow, this is among the few anti trump memes ive seen on lemmy.

Fuck everyone who pushes trump. Whether youre a "leftist" or otherwise.

Sersiouly, i wish you would kill youselves.

[-] Klear@lemmy.world 6 points 5 months ago

Well, the good news is that Lemmy is tiny and memes posted here probably amount to nothing in the grand scheme of things at this point, but I'm scared to imagine what goes on on Reddit, Facebook etc.

[-] Kit@lemmy.blahaj.zone 6 points 5 months ago

Exactly. There's also a ton of psyop misinformation here along the lines of what 4chan saw in elections from 2008 and on. Remember the Hillary stories about literally bathing in baby blood that people believed? Or the pedo pizza thing?

Just go ahead and say it: the New York Times is full of Russian bots. You know you want to, what's holding you back?
