I'd rather have an uninspiring centrist than a convicted felon and fascist tho.

But how did the great poet Mick Jagger put it? "You can't always get what you want."

The system is gonna stay the same if the people don't change. That's why I like gen Z, they are smart enough to not put up with that bullshit.

Yesterday, I was in the local Aldi to get some groceries and the cashier was sick. Coughing constantly, blowing her nose between customers. People complimented her for her strong will and eagerness to go to work despite being sick and found it admirable to act like this, I found it disgusting and was questioning my sanity.

Why is it socially acceptable to spread your bullshit disease everywhere instead of just staying at home and recovering quicker? Humanity learned nothing from covid.

He is "confident" which for most means simple being a giant asshole without a hint of introspection or care for others. It's a trait people love because they wish they could bear being a giant asshole themselves but their fear of unfavorable judgement from others keeps them in check.

Mammals use boob-juice to raise their offspring. That's why they are called that.

As opposed to e.g. birds that don't use boob-juice and instead elect to vomit in their offspring's ingestion orifices.

US politics are so wild that it's really hard for me to distingish satire from reality.

This is called parthenogenesis and is a known phenomenon, albeit rare in vertebrates. Some species, like the New Mexico whiptail, rely on it (all New Mexico whiptails are female).

Here is a paper from 2007 that talks about parthenogenesis in hammerhead sharks..

Yes, no shit. That was the outlook from day 1.

The Russian Army is largely represented as a bunch of baffoons in the Western media, but it's still one of the 3 largest armies in the world. Ukraine cannot hold their lines indefinitely, the only way to "win" against an opponent that has multiple times your materiel available is guerilla.

I'd like to solve, Alex:

What are different places on Earth from where the eclipse is visible?
