Meanwhile, Trump only has 1 campaign event per week and spends the rest of the time begging billionaires for money and golfing.
Low energy old man.

Low energy old man.
Not so different from while he was in office then.
he was rallying way more while he was in office even though there was no campaign
Small dick energy
He's working on his exit plan since he knows he's going to lose and that means jail. Personally it's a toss up on where I'd like to see him go, N. Korea or Russia. I think it'd be worse for him in NK, but it would be interesting to see how he fairs in a country that he owes half a billion to.
I really hope this is gonna be a landslide election and it's possible for the Dems to take a page out of Waltz' book and pass a whole bunch of meaningful legislation, which will help carry on support for the Dems next election as well. But oh well, I might be too optimistic.
If we want that then it’s not enough to just get Harris into office. We’ve got to win Congress. And we’ve got to win enough of the Senate that any would-be Manchins can’t stop everything. That’s the only way to pass meaningful legislation.
Yes, that's why it needs to be a landslide, we need enough political power to actually enact change.
I just want to make sure the people in the back are aware of this too, because I’ve heard lots of people complain that the Dems didn’t do things in the past four years that they would need real control to do
Definitely, my hope is that if that doesn't happen this time, the momentum will carry forward to the next election as well and the electorate will see that the Dems can actually make life better for people. But it's a dream, I know that.
I have a feeling that certain wanna-be John Galts that have just enough power would do things to make people miserable enough to blame their experiences on Democratic policies.
Can't have the threat of a good example.
The ones saying that are the trolls and bots.
It’s impossible to know, but I suspect some are trolls and bots, and some aren’t.
It's pretty easy to tell a troll though, look at their post history. They all do the same things.
I'm prepared to be surprised. This ticket is a godsend for down ticket Democrats.
About 2 or 3 weeks ago I would have thought that kind of talk is way too optimistic. Now that Biden stepped aside, Kamala stepped up, and most people rallied around her, and you add in Walz now...well, damn, I'm trying to think of a time where I've ever been this optimistic about the Democrats.
And I'm one of the people that was lukewarm about Kamala (at best). I'm going to vote like my life depends on it even though I'm not in a swing state, but still...
2008 was fucking electric. This isn’t quite that level, but I’m excited. Kamala’s performance has that same Obama competence and organization.
The votes in non-swing states still contribute to overwhelming support and popularity, which we'll need when Trump's cronies try to undermine the election.
You're not as pivotal as a Georgian, but you're still very valuable. <3
It is truly awful that people in certain states, and definitely in remote areas, definitely have their vote count more so than in others. It's definitely ironic given that California is so key to our country, and yet....the people there are treated, electorally, like second-class citizens.
It is, yeah. The electoral college isn't specifically what I was referring to, but yeah, it would be nice if something like the Interstate Compact could get enough traction to do what it needs to.
Walz would end up being President of the Senate. He'd be well placed to direct that very effort.
What worries me is the Republican party is too far gone to be reasonable, but at least Mitch McConnell is retiring...
The party probably can't continue after Trump. It'll splinter into warring factions trying to out purity each other and go nowhere.
Watch for that, because it's an opportunity for a real leftist party to emerge.
I've been saying for years now that every politician with an R after their name needs to be removed from government. Then, the existing Democrat party can logically splinter into its own progressive/moderate/conservative divisions (I might not agree with Democratic conservatives, but at least they're not completely insane and can be reasoned with).
What a hopeful thought, that the Republicans might finally do this to themselves. I hope you're right.
He's still keeping his seat though isn't he?
"Can't hear you, too busy enacting the will of the people"
Harris to trump,
"Sorry, I wasn't listening... what did you just lie, felon?"
That's a nice one
Smart. Trump has gotten away with lying so much, the fact-checks come after he has already drowned the issue in more lies. This even happened live, in debates and interviews! Playing catch-up with his word-vomit is not an option...
Well it's easy to get away with it in the debates when the moderators don't say a fucking word, even when Rump is saying things like "You and I know... -" and then goes on to tell some atrocious lie.
Worthless.
Should’ve said she was busy speaking to her massive crowds
Not sure trump has ever met a voter
He has. He was disappointed to find out they were poor.
