It's been some years since I last used Inkscape. Sounds like a good time to dabble again with it.
I tried it years ago and didn't really understand anything and just put it away since I didn't really need it anyway.
Tried again towards the end of last year, and the whole thing is incredibly intuitive. Sure, there's still a lot to master if you want to become great, but I was able to perfectly recreate an old logo from the 1970s that has never been properly digitalized without having to really learn or Google anything. It's a fantastic tool.
Shape Builder is my favorite tool in Illustrator. It is extremely useful
This is great! Inkscape 1.3 looks much more polished than before! Love the new Shape Builder tool!
Wow this is huge! Most of my experience with Inkscape has been modifying designs for cutting with a Cricut and 1.3 has a handful of game changing features that were sorely missing.
Best tool for assembling and making journal quality figures. Excited for performance improvements, hopefully it will help when with complex svgs with ton of objects.
