Seems like banning all advertising would end all this stupidity. Seems like Google Android is following iOS's lead...

Jesus. They keep adding more that default to "on," and bury the settings deeper each time. It's absurd.

I literally got a notification that took me to this menu. They aren't trying to hide it

I didn't. I only found out about it through this post.

I also had to dig down two menus deep past the config search results. Looks pretty hidden to me.

I didn't either. Found it four pages deep. under "other privacy settings", nonchalantly placed at the bottom of the last page. And i just did a search for that kind of thing two weeks ago and somehow missed it.

How our future will look. I know most people will go about they're lives ignorant to this bs but by agreeing to this shit your inadvertently fucking us all. I hope more people look to custom ROMs and disagree to marketing bs and generally living with more awareness of the actions they take and how it'll effect our future
