Some time ago the popular Tech Channel #LinusTechTips published a Video as part of their new #DeGoogeYourLife 3 part series.
However this Video (part 2) was now taken down by #Google: https://youtu.be/apdZ7xmytiQ
While the Video in question did not in any way promote harmful content, however this just serves as a reminder why Google's #monopoly with #YouTube is problematic.
Also shout out to the Videos sponsor for giving a discount with the code "fuckyoutube" 😂
Here is the first part of the Series for everyone interested: https://youtu.be/YnSv8ylLfPw

The only thing that I noticed that likely violates YT TOS is LTT mentioning alternate YT frontends, e.g. FreeTube, LibreTube, and Invidious.

This being enough for taking down a video, not just demonitizing, makes sense in the context of YT cracking down on third party frontends. How long until YT uses DRM?

The problem is that the advertising model isn't scaling. It cost exponential amounts of money to host higher quality content but the ads make the same. They are bleeding money like crazy. And that's not just YouTube as all of Googles business model is in question.

Somehow I have a feeling that Degoogle your life videos are not something Google cares for
