should we have a pinned discussion thread? I am excited for a weekly release with a mystery to untangle.

I liked Wanda from the beginning but Wandavision made her one of my absolute favorites. Since that show I have been dying for more, and while Multiverse of Madness scratched that itch some (loved the movie, love Sam Raimi horror + strange and Wanda duo (and Wong!))

With Agatha All Along we get the rest of WV back. Hahn was a highlight of WV so I have high expectations for this one.

Lastly, we’ll be seeing the reintroduction of another Young Avenger for Kamala’s team 😎

A discussion thread would be fun!

Re discussion thread, I've had one pinned all week, https://lemmy.world/post/19632914

I wouldn't say "pumped". She was a c-list background character in a b-list mini-series.

I'm still interested in where they're going with it and I like the actress, but "pumped"? Yeah, no.

Wandavision has been my favorite Marvel series so far, but even I can't bring myself to be too excited about this because it was so long ago.

I'll try to leech your excitement for myself op lol

Wandavision def holds up well even if the mystery aspect isn’t there

Man I just hate it didn't stick the landing. The whole boner bait and switch and the finale of generic magic slinging fight. But the first few episodes had me enthralled.

It's how I feel about Shang Chi. If they could've pulled off a better ending, it would be one of my top Marvel movies, but the let down of another big magic slinging CGI filled fight pushed it below my to 5 when I watched it (though it's probably still in my too 10).

You know, I think the only times I've seen you pumped are when you're pumped to shit on something.

My money is on her bringing scarlet witch back so that they straighten that fact out for the movie.

Weird question, can folks not see the pinned discussion thread?

https://lemmy.world/post/19632914

In short I'll have threads for each episode.

[–] Microw@lemm.ee 3 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Might be good to have only one thread in those weeks where two episodes drop simultaneously?

[–] MimicJar@lemmy.world 2 points 10 months ago (1 children)

Only the first (tomorrow) and last week are double episodes.

I know I prefer separate threads since during a rewatch it can be more fun to see what people think between episodes.

[–] Microw@lemm.ee 1 points 10 months ago

Ah, thats a good point

Yeah my wife is super excited. I'm absolutely looking forward to it.

Should be a good time.

My wife put on Wandavision in the background to kinda rewatch while cleaning yesterday. Long story short, no cleaning got done after the third episode, with me putting of work for a bit to sit and watch from the fifth episode on.

Suffice to say, of course I'm looking forward to it as well as a rumored Scarlet Witch movie. The rest of the MCU has been a bit of a disappointment since end game, though, save for Loki. We'll see.

[–] A32topsL@lemmy.world 6 points 10 months ago

I'm excited too. Agatha All Along for series, then Thunderbolts for film. The last which really fulfilled it was Deadpool & Wolverine.

[–] Sanctus@lemmy.world 5 points 10 months ago

Loki was the last thing I cared about tbh

They gave my boi the ending he deserved and now I'm satisfied

[–] Microw@lemm.ee 5 points 10 months ago

Btw we are getting TWO episodes tomorrow and the final two episodes of Agatha All Along are set to drop together on the eve of Halloween
