does this meme really need to be reposted every day?
Man, I stole your meme
It's not my meme
humor achieved
Especially considering all the fuss in programming about copyright laws.
"I stole your code"
"Well, I'm fucking honored, mate. Have at it"
There is no code. Only &code.
There is no code. Only ﹠code.
---- immutable borrow occurs here
That error doesn't occur if you only ever copy the code as-is taps head
There is no code. Only Cow<code>.
I see this meh-meh come up occasionally, and I'm always amused because designers are constantly looking at the competition and adjusting to suit. Why do you think all sebtites look the same?
Stealing implies depriving the original owner of something that you know possess.
The entire digital medium invalidates this concern by its very nature, yet we keep reintroducing it anyway.
Repost
As someone who occasionally shares their stuff online: This sucks so much.
I once uploaded a file for a really basic 3D printer part for free. I later re-uploaded it on another platform, only have someone else comment that it looked similar to their design, even though my first upload was before theirs.
At the time, I made a 'Unoeverse reverse card' joke and brushed it aside. But honestly, I hated the interaction. So unnecessary.
This meme doesn't really work as all code has to be licensed.
GPL: if you steal this code, you must let other people steal your code as well
MIT: just steal this code, idgaf
Public domain: who made this code I just stole? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Hey! we designers have mastered the imposter syndrome.
