In the time it's taken us to get this far. China has built a world-class rail high speed rail network. I wish our successive governments were able to see beyond the short-term.

To be honest, that's just you parroting right wing talking points, not realising it makes you sound like a racist. France just built high speed rail too. There's a bunch that have happened in Europe while we've dragged our feet with HS2. Can we blame the commies for all of them?
