The cherry on top is that unbreakable correlle plate it's served on.

As someone who grew up using a wonderful set of correlle dishes, I can personally confirm that they are breakable.

And they almost explode when you do get them to break.

They're fantastic plates. We have a set, still have some of the ones I swiped from my parents when I moved out.

A company that makes the exact same size plates 40 years later is okay in my book. They stack great.

I love my Correlle plates, so nice and light and thin and durable.

My parents have those exact corelle plates. I learned they aren't really unbreakable though, I broke a couple teacups and a bowl as a kid.

The cherry on top's supposed to go in the ambrosia.

Ideally those halved maraschino ones in neon red.

And it tastes divine. The jello pudding is the nectar of gods

Not to knock anyones cooking skills, but that is the most tortured dish I've seen in quite a while.

The key is to mix the green bean slop with the wild rice slop. Delicious all around

And then we're sitting down around the big ass console TV to watch MVP Frank Viola and the Twins win the World Series.
