I didn't test it yet but oftentimes mailprovider that offer you some cloud storage offer some office functions, too. e.g. mailbox cloud office .

It’s not as good as docs in terms of features but for short notes Standard notes is good. Has a free plan encrypted end to end and syncs across devices
