You could argue that maybe he did not watch the TV and did not know it was going south until that moment. Still a really annoying plot point.
I think he was hopping he would not need to go.
I mean, he could still have gone before people lose their arms and their healer is impaled. But maybe he was busy, sitting on rooftops.
I think the plot excuse for that is only a handful of the full group had his shadows on them. He wouldn’t have known about the healer being injured if he didn’t have the shadow on him. The others being injured wasn’t even a concern to themselves until the healer was hurt so maybe the shadows wouldn’t notify him before then.
But maybe he was busy, ~~sitting~~ brooding on rooftops.

Aura farming is more important than saving lives.
One of the two things I find out putting. This and the drastic 1 episode change to his character.
clearly you don't understand his motivation.
he doesn't care about these people. to him, they're beneath him and frankly I can't fault him for having that opinion.
he was an e rank hunter, nobody wanted him and didn't care if he lived or died, so why should he now?
If you're upset about that, then you should also know that he's not the hero of the story, never was, never wanted to be.
he wanted to fix his family and now he's healed his mom, next will be to find his father(once he realizes he's still alive).
I'm loving this show so far, although there's a lot of side plots that dont get the development they deserve. Like the low tier hunter girl or the rich daddy's guy. Also is there a site for discussion about the manga?
god I kinda hate this anime. Nothing outside of the mc's big fights feels relevant or interesting, so entire episodes without the mc just feel boring and like a waste of time. Is the manwha any better?
