I explained that the threats to cut disability benefits are making me want to unalive myself and I have a plan to do it. I am just waiting to see how bad the cuts are, whether I can survive them. If i even get my benefits reinstated anyway.
I have absolutely no idea how to reply to this post to be helpful. I wish libs in the parliament and on .World were forced to read what you wrote here to remind them that their horrible ideas destroy lives. Forced to read one thousand times. We want to hear you. We want you to be able to speak for the rest of your natural lifetime. People downvote you because posts like this are dangerous for Lemmygrad. Self-un4l1v3 posts can attract fed attention
I read your post as well, but was also unsure of what to say. For a conversation like this face-to-face, the most useful thing I can do is to listen.
I'm not sure why others would downvote. In moments like these it's more important to be supportive and understanding than trying to repress or ignore these thoughts.
I'm sure many others listen and care, but don't know how to lend support. I hope you'd forgive them for that. I hear you.
It's completely fine with me if you leave your post up. Maybe just adding a content warning in the title just in case for people who are sensitive to it.
