It feels like it needs said, because none of these news sources are touching it with a 10 foot pole. We arent talking about cow shit. This is industrial fertilizers that are a byproduct of oil. That's what russia exports. This is funding russias oil industry directly.

Industrial fertilizer is also the stuff that goes boom real good.

Saskatchewan's main mined fertilizer is potash which is not petroleum-based.

[–] captainlezbian@lemmy.world 6 points 1 week ago

Potash is potassium, petrofertilizers are nitrogen. Different nutrients for Different purposes

Stop acting surprised. We all know Trump wants to be friends with Putin and Putin is exploiting the crap out of him for it.

Trump is a Putin simp.

Scott is a DUI hire, he's a little slow

They went through hell together remember? “Rushurusharusha” as he so often says. Was surprised that it wasn’t a big story when he went on about Putin going through a lot with him over the investigations into Russian interference. This wasn’t that long ago.

Agreed - the firehose of diarrhea let that slip right by.

“WE”?!? Unreal. Not even trying to disguise it and….crickets.

Trump's put tariffs on everyone else, he needs someone to trade with

[–] TwinTitans@lemmy.world 15 points 1 week ago

It’s a long list Scott. But yeah, it’s up there.

... And cutting into our own exports. For reference, Saskatchewan's main single product by dollar figure is potash fertiliser.

I hate this, don't cheapen actual humanitarian and security concerns by mixing it with commercial shilling.

Fucking Krasnov will allow RUSAL to make their return too.

[–] sik0fewl@lemmy.ca 2 points 1 week ago

Scott Moe is a piece of shit. He was wanted to sell out Canada by keeping Saskatchewan exports (oil and potash) tariff free while the rest of Canada takes the brunt instead. Now he's butthurt that the US is going elsewhere for potash.

Trump's actions may be disturbing, but you don't need to hear about it from someone like Moe, who wouldn't even give a damn if it didn't affect his bottom line.

Hey! Why don't we also give them all our intellectual property?
