Hiper Light Drifters as a whole is just a β¨Vibeβ¨
It is my favorite game for this reason alone. Every screen feels just... right. Crafted. It's a good feeling, like I'm in good hands.
It's my comfort game.
It is like a lucid dream where everything is so right you have no desire to wakeup
Also just how fucking cool is that title man, seriously? I realize I'm letting my inner 8-year old get the better of me, but in this case, he's goddamn right.
If I can skirt the conversation to talk more about the soundtrack and less about the ambiance (which I will), then Dicey Dungeons. I deliberately stall battles just to hear more of the OST. Tempting Fate is my favorite track.
Itβs not a dungeon by most definitions, but basically all of the ambience of Portal; especially when youβre in the backrooms of Aperture Science fumbling about trying to find an escape and GLaDOS is speaking through shitty far-off speakers. The music is a vibe
Did you forgot to specify that you're asking about a game? Dungeons and temples don't usually come with a soundtrack.
Huh, how aren't they (temple or dungeons in video games) part of the OST?
I edited title for more clarity
If they are in a game and there is music when you're in the temple then yes it's part of the soundtrack for that game.
Your original title didn't say anything about games though. The Tower of London dungeons don't come with a soundtrack.

Or maybe you just disabled music in settings and forgot?
If weβre talking Elden Ring, then Iβd say this boss fight and the entire section leading to it:
This part of the game will stay with me forever
Edit: hereβs a video of the descent into that zone if anyone is wondering
Experiencing it for the first time was breathtaking
Most of the soundtrack from Stray
Some from Nier Replucant & Automata
Temple of drifting sands
Might be stretching dungeon/temple stipulation, but I always loved the music in the haunted houses in Super Mario World.
If you're looking for warm and relaxing with a fantasy twist Hogwarts Legacy has a great OST
I actually did that on Sonic & Knuckles Hidden Palace Zone
A lot of places in WoW. Some of my favourites: Shrine of Seven Stars, Dalaran, Icecrown Citadel, Mogu'shan Vault, Tomb of Sargeras, Karazhan, Throne of Thunder.
The boss music that starts playing when you get to Lucifron in Molten Core was epic back in 2005.
Yeah, though rest of Molten core was pretty bad, in original WoW dungeons were for some reason much better then raids.
Nier Automata and Nier Replicant
