As a German, all I can say is: WTF

Don't forget Putin money. They brand themselves as the pro-Germany party, whatever the fuck that means, and they're the most lovey-dovey with all the regimes trying to damage Germany.

The whole world is in a cyclical shift to stupidity.

Are we sure it’s not a downward spiral?

History will continue. This isn't the first time this has happened and it won't be the last. Does kind of kill my optimism that the human race will reach a kind of Star Trek like utopia anytime soon though.

To be fair, Trek has a canonical nuclear war in like, 2026.

Based on my 50 years in the world, I think more people have progressed to the level that we would need for a more utopian society. Unfortunately, there are still too many people that want to go the other way. I still maintain hope though.

Yeah I'm increasingly seeing the sort of people who could be the great grandparents of utopians. I'm just also increasingly seeing open fascists who are mad about it
