Montana wildlife management officials don’t plan to take any further action. Otters can be protective of themselves and their young.

The statement from the wildlife management seems to imply the women were being idiots, but the news article sounds like they were attacked randomly

When I saw "otter attack" the first thing that came to mind is they must have been harrasing them or too close to babies. Something stupid, whatever it was.

Also at no point did I place the blame on the otter for the attack, just pointing out they're fucking assholes.

I didnt claim they were adorable all the time, but they're cute as shit when they're floating on their backs and washing themselves. Dolphins are cute too, and they'll rape anything that isn't bolted down.
