Unfortunately, I don't have exact quantities as I usually cook without a recipe. Take an onion and fry it together with the bacon. Season with a little salt, pepper and caraway. Leave to cool and then mix with crème fraiche or sour cream and the sauerkraut. Spread the mixture on bread rolls (the ones not fully baked yet) and sprinkle with cheese. Then bake at 200 degrees Celsius for approx. 10 minutes.

It's close to Zwiebelkuchen but that has it's own dough and no Sauerkraut.

Yes it's quite similar to Zwiebelkuchen. But I'm really not that good in making Zwiebelkuchen on my own :D
