Build an all AMD system and you can use valve's image right now.
I have three all AMD systems, did not work on either. Installed fined but when it loaded, just a black screen so I'm using bazzite now which loads fine.
I mean I've been using images from Chimera and Bazzite for years and I doubt SteamOS has anything they don't. 🤷
Maybe they are angling for the data from installing on multiple systems. Gaming optimized versions of … things. 🤷🏻♂️
