Dunno. Arkansas is wondering why leopards are eating their faces, too.
Cook's Venture (an Arkansas poultry processor) went bankrupt practically overnight. Then the state came in and killed all the chickens at each farm, leaving the farmers to deal with all the dead and rotting corpses.
What did our wonderful governor do? Well, as I recall, her administration refused to declare a state of emergency and pretty much told all the poultry farmers to go fuck themselves because it's "not the government's job to bail out private businesses" or some bullshit like that.
Doesn't feel so good when you're the one getting told to fuck off. I hope all the people who voted for Trump and Sarah Sanders are happy since this is exactly what they voted for.
"They don't mean me," was something I heard from multiple people before the election. One was an immigrant who is a citizen.
Different country, similar politics: we got refugee kids rooting for the far right (full on Nazi) party thinking they're hating with them.

They probably didn't, seeing as aside from Miller, they're figures from past administrations.
It seems very unlikely to me that the majority of them voted for Harris.
"Oh noooo we cut NASA in half. Who will fill that void?? SpaceX will save us". That's every republican and several democrats in congress counting their sweet DOGE "SuperPAC" kickbacks paid for by you.
Nobody could have seen this coming.
At the end of the day, you sometimes get what you pay for.
