Rules

  1. Keep it civil.
  2. No memeposts/shitposts. Memes are great but direct them to grimdank.
  3. Please mark any posts containing realistic nudity or realistic excessive gore/violence as NSFW; this rule mainly applies to cosplay and realistic drawings rather than miniatures. Being that 40k is inherently violent, this is a judgement call, and mods may occasionally request posters add tags.
  4. No political or social cause agenda pushing.

I'm a little sad to see Santa's sleigh go and likely never return, but dang is the new Grimnar cool. I wonder if there is going to be any special story to Grimnar's crossing of the Rubicon Primaris. I bet Ragnar Blackmane is jealous Grimnar got to keep his pet wolves when he didn't.

Honestly I'm glad the sleigh is gone. It was so bad in my mind.

I'm also interested in seeing where the fluff is going. From the releases so far it doesn't look like we're going to get Russ though, which I think is a good thing.

Honestly I'm very happy the wolves are going away from the Furry side of things and more leaning into the Space Vikings side of things.

I know I’m in the minority but I like both. The Wulfen are cool to me, I like the models and the lore. I have a feeling if we get Russ 40K he will be more beast than man as well.

Totally fair. I'm here for the Wulfen. I'm not here for frost-claws on wolf-riders bearing the wolf-wolf signum or whatever. Russ would work fine, but I feel like there are better choices to bring back primarch wise. I'd personally pick Vulkan or Dorn first.

Vulkan, because he's a perpetual and would have really cool rules, Dorn because he could come back as the Penitent Primarch, admitting that Sigismund was right, and instead of the Praetorian of Terra we would get the primarch of the Black Templars instead.

Your Dorn concept is really exciting! I’m hoping personally for Corvus or the Khan next. A primarch whose warped but isn’t chaos excited me I’d love to see what GW does with that concept. And a primarch on a vehicle just excites me.

Although all the factions I collect have their primarchs now so I’m game for anyone.

I agree both of those would be awesome!
