The biggest VR game of all time, Beat Saber, has sold countless virtual reality headsets over the years. Now owned by Meta’s Oculus Studios, the rhythm game juggernaut is on pretty much every VR platform, but the devs are now abandoning PSVR and PSVR 2.

In a statement to fans, Beat Studios confirmed end of support for PS4 and PS4 players. While the game will still be available to buy in its current state alongside DLC packs, no new updates will be coming to the game.

How often does the game come out with new dlc?

Yeah, they drop a new one every couple of months.

Bummer about psvr2 being lumped in. Fantastic headset and tech, while I don’t own bear saber on it, the games I do own on both PS and meta are definitely better on PS

Lame, it was good Meta was supporting other platforms. This is a bad look.

Sure would be nice if Sony would open-source the drivers and/or firmware so that these things don't become eWaste.
