Right into my veins please

I legitimately punch “Celtic fans Palestine” into Google images to make myself feel better every so often. Of course they know what’s happening, everyone knows what’s happening, but they use their visibility for the greater good. Even if they get in trouble over it every time.

Edit: here’s a few more

The Irish are so fucking sick.

They’re Scottish

100% support the message but is this actually the Celtic Ultras? They are flying an Irish flag, not Scottish, the emblem in the image also isn't the emblem for Celtic F.C. Their emblem is a four leaf clover, this one is a white and green shield.

That said I don't know shit about sports. Free Palestine!

Celtic was founded by Irish immigrants to Scotland, and they're big on that connection to this day. Waving Scottish flags is left to the Rangers fans.

Rangers fans don’t wave Scottish flags, they’re all loyalists (pro Britain/Monarchy).

Here they are against Lazio, a club nicknamed “Nazio” for reasons you can guess.

I know sports can be seen as dumb, I looked down on that whole scene for years and years, but even if the games themselves don’t mean much to you, it’s powerful to recognize how it moves people. Yes it’s historically led to hooliganism, but honestly, tens of thousands of fans go to games every other week, chanting in unison, it’s practically religion. Sport is part of life for a very sizable portion of the global population.

A lot of good politics online is unfortunately represented by people who don’t go outside much. You want to mobilize people? The ultras know how. The far right has effectively exploited sports fans - why can’t we?

Not that sport is for dumb, I've never said that. Just ultras have a very strong connection to far right "activists".

Now, thanks to you, this connection in my head is a little weaker
