I would prefer fabric to leather. And end a three section normal size couch is fine. It doesn’t have to be some huge sectional monstrosity.

Lay-z-boy might be worth a look. I don't have a couch but I have several reclining chairs. They've all held up well for 10 years and then some.

I can't recommend a specific couch, but for what I call mid-range I think Costco is the place to go. They have lots of stuff online, but I wouldn't buy a couch I couldn't actually sit on first. In-store furniture is generally only available in between seasons though - the next time would be late summer. Oh, and there's no delivery from in-store - the last time I bought a couch I just rented a U-Haul for a few bucks.

They do offer a paid service through a third party now for delivery.

Nearest Costco is 90 minutes away. In Canada. But it might be worth it. May I ask which one you chose?

IKEA is hit or miss with couches but if you’re set on reclining, I’m not sure they have any good ones. The Kallax is solid for a mid-range option if you don’t want reclining though.

Reclining is my primary desired feature, so unfortunately it’s a deal breaker. Thank you, though!
