FIY: this is also why Uno corporate gets its panties in the a that people are playing their game wrong. Once people realise any card can have any function the illusion falls.

As a kid I could never remember the rules (it was called Makao here) whereas the moment I saw Uno I knew kow to play it.

That is their appeal :) Solo on the beach for some reason is more aesthetically pleasing than Uno
