Water doesn't give a fuck about you. My wife loves to open swim and was accosted by the lifeguards at a lake yesterday. She was offended by it but man... water doesn't give a fuck about you and those people were doing the due diligence.

No. The ocean hates you and actively wants you to die

Disagree. It just doesn't care.

In the same way you don't care about most the pathogens that get in you body. You won't even know about but your body still kills it. .

Accidental drowning, oh no. That's so tragic. So unnecessary. Avoidable. ❤️

Rip currents kill so many people, that sucks. I've been caught in one before and while it was scary I remembered how to get away from the current before swimming back in, but even experienced swimmers can drown in the right circumstances. 54 is just way too young to go.

Same , I hit one in Hawaii , before I knew it the beach looked like ants on it. I had to calm down and swim horizontal to get out of it. Never panic.

Apparently the accident happened while on vacation in Costa Rica.

Dang, very sad. I was just in Nosara a few weeks back with my family and definitely noticed some serious rips (no surprise, the conditions that make a break good for surfing also make it dangerous).

Watch Jeremiah if you haven’t. It was a great concept and he was great in it.

I recommend checking out his jazz recordings if you're into it. They're pretty good.

He shouldn't have cheated on Shirley but he didn't deserve this.
