So I responded to a post by donaldjmusk@lemmy.today on conservative@lemmy.today (yeah yeah I know don't feed the troll, but sometimes you just feel the need to be perverse) where he kept making disingenuous points and for some reason was quoting small sections of my replies back into his.

Too late I realised he is a mod on that community and he had been curating his responses so he could ban me and delete my comments and mischaracterize the conversation. I am guessing that references to the sexual proclivities of his idol hurt his fefes. But still he could try arguing his side rather than do that crap.

So anyway just thought I would put the word out that this is the new fun tactic.

The best thing you can do is ignore him. He has stated he does not want discussion, he does not want debate, he does not want argument. As far as I can tell, all he wants is to rage bait. I think he gets off power tripping in there.

Well that's a given for me now... I drew a ban. I guess he really didn't like me drawing the natural inference from Trumps recent behaviour.

The conservative community at HilariousChaos is just as bad.

Actually that whole instance is best avoided.

I just wonder what they get out of it. I mean I get stirring shit up, but I would be over it after a couple of posts and would be entirely unable to bring myself to play those sorts of dumb games on any sort of regular basis. Plus they have to know right? They idolise a child rapist while bleating about buttery males and activities in non-existant basements, you couldn't be accidentally blind to this stuff it has to be wilful.
