Every new update that isn't releasing the full unredacted files is an admission of guilt.
I still don't get why this has picked up so much steam lately. All this info came out years ago and it was widely known at the time. We've had a de facto admission of guilt for ages but for some reason we've all decided to talk about it like we're just learning about it now.
The leaked Epstein files are inadmissible in court. These versions would be usable. And redacting them means they can't be used against Trump, even though we all know he's on it, since we have seen the originals. The official ones are way more important because they can be used. So their coming out has actual legal repercussions, and not just social repercussions.
And I also think there are more files than what leaked. So we won't have seen the originals of some of the upcoming redacted ones.
It's all because his Attorney General was asked if she would release the files and she said, yep, they're on my desk for review.
Not long before that, the administration was bragging about having them in hand, photo op and all, and saying that heads, presumably Democratic heads, would soon roll. SUDDENLY! Yeah, not releasing them, nothing to see here.

A lot of Trump voters are into the conspiracy theories around Epstein, and a few months ago the DOJ made a big deal of giving some right-wing influencers "phase one" of the Epstein files, which turned out to be mostly stuff that was already out. Last month, the DOJ and FBI put out a memo saying that no more documents will be released and that there is no Epstein client list, despite the Attorney General previously saying it was on her desk. MAGA didn't take that well, and Trump has been trying very hard to distract people from it.

Think everyone is beyond caring about optics. That ship sailed long ago when people voted for the known pussy grabber. Would just be good to have an actual legal case that could maybe just maybe get rid of this asswipe. Nothing else sticks quite like a sex scandal. His horrendous abuse of the alien enemies act should have been more than enough to have him fully impeached for human rights abuse. This Epstein stuff could have teeth, as society tends to not let this stuff slide.

The problem for them being that all prominent MAGATS are in the files.
I think the pressure is coming from many sides, but if there weren't so many MAGAs in there they would have already released an "enemies list".

What they're not mentioning here is, Epstein's island hadn't been either bought or renovated yet. There was no island to go to at the time of his flights.
Records have shown that Trump took at least eight flights on Epstein's private jet between 1993 and 1997, but they were between New York and Florida.
