Stop using Microshit products China. Anything critical, really anything, but especially anything government or military related should be run on hardened systems. Anything public-facing like email servers that unlike say a Windows 10 desktop cannot be really locked down or secured via other systems should be something other than Microsoft. I really hope China still extensively keeps secrets exclusively on paper as that's the only way to stay safe at the level of exposure they have to western tech from the empire of hackers that is the west.

The fact that western tech was still being used in critical places is really the only thing that's noteworthy here. China's been pushing to move off western tech in government use for over a decade now, but looks like they still haven't fully excised it. Moving to domestic and open source solutions should be top priority.

We also noted that the US used its allies in Europe and in China's neighboring region to launch the cyberattacks.

The EU is the culprit.

They'd only double down on using compromised systems.

I thought Germany, of all places, is moving to Linux?

Only some state and local government departments, likely more because they don't have the funds for paid software.

I have to stop with too much credence to that other server news.

This is why Chinese software and hardware is a threat to western national security. If they can't learn of and make use of vulnerabilities before they're patched how can this evil empire of hackers and criminals continue to dominate?

I wish to China play bigger role in world politics and bring balance the power of the Western countries. On the other hand, China doesn’t want to play the rival role for the US now they’re only using their soft power. This might be a trap for China too like arm race between Soviets and USA. Eventually, arm race and wars only would serve for the capitalist countries. Emotionally, I would like to see China play the rival role for the US and its allies to stop their involvement and attacks like in Palestine. The world is searching for its red army.

The US chose the "two can play that game" route, huh. And now I question, how can ANY organization trust Microsoft with anything?
