When I eventually learned how the Toothfairy works, I felt suddenly disturbed that someone had definitely been able to put their hand under my pillow without waking me up.
Witchy Memes
Be cool to each other. We'll welcome most occult themes, it's okay if you stray from witchcraft a bit.
No advertising. No trolling. No hate. Violaters will be removed unceremoniously.
We love art credits when possible.
Most young kids sleep really hard once they are all the way down. You were likely carried from room to room without ever stirring on multiple occasions. I find that much more disturbing.
Probably good for a kiddo to be able to rest while parents do what they need to.
Besides, growing is exhausting ¯\(ツ)/¯
Sure seems like it! Nothing like seeing one fall asleep mid sentence and then sleeping for 12 hrs. Truly the best of times
I last did that loaded on morphine at the hospital. Crashed mid sentence. Ex-wife told me I woke an hour later and just kept rolling with whatever I was on about.
sorry to be that person, but teeth are not bones
They aren't?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tooth
Teeth are not made of bone, but rather of multiple tissues of varying density and hardness that originate from the outermost embryonic germ layer, the ectoderm.
Nope.
Thanks for explaining
Thank you, American healthcare!
Hogfather was my first Discworld book and in my top 3 for sure. If you haven't given the series a shot, you're missing out. Read all 42 books, twice. Can't believe I didn't start until Pratchett was taken by Death.
Here's the cartoon that got me interested. Death has taken over the job of the Hogfather, basically Santa Claus. (It's novel, not a graphic one.)
Oof I can't imagine a reread, but i'm on 38/42 now. Seconding the entire series and hogfather was a good one.
In the Philippines you have to knock on a tree to ask the gnomes of that tree for permission to get fruit or be near it.
I'm sure I've got bones I don't really need.
