The sister is the surrogate.

[–] DrBob@lemmy.ca 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

wife is infertile, so they got the sister as a surrogate.

if I was that couple I'd tell everyone that joke

[–] siha@feddit.uk 16 points 2 weeks ago

Didn't know Facebook boomer memes counted as shitposts

[–] josefo@leminal.space 7 points 2 weeks ago

Would be better if it said "our sister" instead.

He probably means your grammar feels lonely. You should spend more time with her while you still can.

Grammar is Gen Z brainrod for "grandmother"

[–] Lembot_0004@discuss.online 5 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

Oh. Ok. That explains the last joke but not the first, though...

[–] lugal@lemmy.dbzer0.com -1 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

You mean the one in the meme?

I'm guessing its about your grammar. You wrote "what the problem is?" Instead of 'what is the problem?'

[–] Lembot_0004@discuss.online 2 points 2 weeks ago (1 children)

I see both variants in active use. So while my variant may not be formally correct (no idea, I'm from a country where nobody knows English at all), it surely isn't "Oh my fucking god, it is unreadable!"

[–] xylol@leminal.space 4 points 2 weeks ago

Yeah but you know how it is on the internet, if you ask a question people will give you the snarkiest answer they can think of
