For those that have had enough of the Elon Musk worship online.

No flaming, baiting, etc. This community is intended for those opposed to the influx of Elon Musk-related advertising online. Coming here to defend Musk or his companies will not get you banned, but it likely will result in downvotes. Please use the reporting feature if you see a rule violation.

Opinions from all sides of the political spectrum are welcome here. However, we kindly ask that off-topic political discussion be kept to a minimum, so as to focus on the goal of this sub. This community is minimally moderated, so discussion and the power of upvotes/downvotes are allowed, provided lemmy.world rules are not broken.

Post links to instances of obvious Elon Musk fanboy brigading in default subreddits, lemmy/kbin communities/instances, astroturfing from Tesla/SpaceX/etc., or any articles critical of Musk, his ideas, unrealistic promises and timelines, or the working conditions at his companies.

Tesla-specific discussion can be posted here as well as our sister community /c/RealTesla.

I used to live a few blocks from the diner, and I know there is an In-N-Out just up the street that offers cheaper burgers that don't put more money into the pocket of the richest man in the world.

Too bad In-N-Out is also owned by a Nazi chud.

I'm sure there's more to it, but this isn't a great start.

While Snyder herself has not made political contributions, during her presidency, In-N-Out Burger and affiliated entities have donated $275,000 to the California Republican Party and $750,000 to the Congressional Leadership Fund, a super PAC dedicated to electing Republicans to the U.S. House of Representatives.[35][36] The company has also donated $180,000 to Californians for Jobs and a Strong Economy, a Super PAC dedicated to electing moderate and pro-business Democrats to the U.S. Senate.[35]

In November 2021, Snyder had a phone call with Florida governor Ron DeSantis, during which DeSantis invited her to relocate In-N-Out's headquarters from Southern California to Florida or open a new distribution center in his state.[37] Snyder reportedly thanked DeSantis for the offer but declined.[38]

During the first half of 2025, Synder donated $2 million to MAGA Inc., a super PAC that supports Donald Trump.[39]

I mean, they fly the Gadsen flag over their HQ and distribution centers.

Ahhh, I've only been there once and it was years ago, that explains a lot.

I wish I didn't know this

The problem is the media will not talk about that. The announcement was everywhere but the failures are not broadcasted.

I don’t think they did that well either. This is the first I have heard of it. Are we sure this isn’t a joke? Though, the opening at 4:20 thing sounds like some on-brand insufferable childish shit from Elon.

the media is owned by the class that wants you to think Felon Stank is so rich because he's good at business. they act as propaganda.

As per Tesla's website, the menu has dwindled down to just a burger, three sandwiches, a hot dog…

So… five sandwiches

[–] Muaddib@sopuli.xyz 3 points 1 month ago (4 children)

Hot dogs aren't sandwiches

[–] And009@lemmynsfw.com 3 points 1 month ago

Bread with meat in between.

[–] PhoreTwunny@lemmy.world 2 points 1 month ago (1 children)

A hot dog is legally a sandwich in CA

[–] Muaddib@sopuli.xyz 2 points 1 month ago

Government bureaucrats can't decide reality

[–] StaticFalconar@lemmy.world 1 points 1 month ago

Turn it sideways, its now a sandwich

[–] BigMacHole@sopuli.xyz 23 points 1 month ago

It's a GOOD THING Elon Musk DIDNT piss Off the EXACT type of People who would Care about Organic Free Range Eggs and Veggie Pattys!

Friendly reminder that a car manufacturer selling you food isn't even all that original.

You can get VW original part 199 398 500 A at some of their locations and that's been around since the muskrat was 2 years old. In fact, it was their most sold product for some years.

I'm surprised, shocked actually...that this actually existed.

[–] Exusia@lemmy.world 3 points 1 month ago

Same, I didn't even know they had opened one amidst....the flurry of everything else

[–] cannon_annon88@lemmy.today 10 points 1 month ago

They opened a restaurant? Excuse me while I laugh hysterically.

[–] YurkshireLad@lemmy.ca 9 points 1 month ago

Oh no! Anyway….

[–] Rentlar@lemmy.ca 7 points 1 month ago (1 children)

I looked at the original menu on another site, seemed like a mediocre but self-respecting offering...

Now it's down to a menu that even I, a positively terrible cook, could offer a bigger selection with a grill at the park.

[–] drcobaltjedi@programming.dev 1 points 1 month ago

Yeah that's not the worst offering. Had I gone to a place with that menu I probably would have ordered something to give it a shot. But here we are, no way in hell I would visit a tesla diner

"all day breakfast" has also gone away
