After all these months of exposure, I’m genuinely surprised that so many on Lemmy still don’t understand that the vast majority of Americans didn’t vote for for him. He cheated, yesterday they documented North Carolina, there’s so much data now.

Why are people so fcking lazy. It is easy to look up, well explained for those who don’t understand statistical data, and he admitted it with Musk on stage.

Americans are such a violent society, even now, they rather hate the other 50% than try and band together to get him out.

There are two active attack vectors:

!Epsteinfiles@lemmy.world and Election Truth Alliance / Smart Elections.

Stop attacking each other, and start holding the cheeto to account.

If you’ve wondered why everything looks like a coup since he got in, perhaps it is because it is one.

Worst part is we will not learn. Democrats are getting behind newsom only because he is less of a wet blanket then current leaders. But he still supports the policies that resulted in trump. I want to say " but yeah maybe we can push having newsome really change shit for the better", then I remember that never worked with Obama. The cycle continues...

[–] MiddleAgesModem@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago

But he still supports the policies that resulted in trump. I

What policies were those? If you helped Trump come to power you're not a liberal or leftist. You're a Trump supporter.

The party isn't to blame this time. It's the voters and we need to stop making these excuses.

[–] Wolf@lemmy.today 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

We really need to find and rally behind a leftist/progressive candidate now and begin building momentum and support so we can primary them, otherwise the nomination will definitely go to Newsom. I stumbled into a Democrat message board today and they are already acting like he is the second coming.

Fuck, I know this is an unpopular take- but Bernie still seems coherent and we could definitely do worse. Of the few centrists and 'non political' types I know they all seem to have respect for him. He may not be perfect- but we can't let perfect be the enemy of the good. He has the advantage of being Old, White, and Male- and you know that will score points with a lot of people who voted for Biden and not Harris, as gross as that is.

If someone else has a better suggestion I am more than willing to hear it, but let's pick someone soon and really try to get people to go to the primaries this time.

Before anyone says it- No, that isn't all we should do. Yes, the Dems will try to stop it. Doesn't mean it isn't worth trying.

[–] MiddleAgesModem@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago (2 children)

Dems will try to stop what? People voting in primaries?

[–] ALLHAILHYPNOTOAD@lemmy.ml 2 points 1 day ago

They stopped Bernie from winning the first primary in 2016 procedurally and with the full strength of the media. The billionaire machine owns the Democrats too.

[–] Wolf@lemmy.today 1 points 1 day ago

They will try to stop a progressive or leftist from winning the primary.

[–] ALLHAILHYPNOTOAD@lemmy.ml 4 points 1 day ago (1 children)

I am going to road trip to take a big shit on his grave when he dies. I am definitely throwing a party the day that mother fuckers dead. Can’t come soon enough. Evil piece of trash.

[–] Smoogs@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

Look don’t get caught, so what you want to do is prep a turd, get one of those chuckit sticks and launch it as you drive by. You don’t want to be exposed and vulnerable just to take a shit on a shit

[–] greedytacothief@lemmy.dbzer0.com 7 points 1 day ago (1 children)

Look man it's not the suits fault it doesn't fit well. I'm not sure anything would look flattering on that.

He should be shoved down an outhouse so that every American that wants to can have a chance to do to him what he did to our country.

[–] Formfiller@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

His grave will be used as a gender neutral outhouse

[–] glorkon@lemmy.world 98 points 3 days ago (10 children)

I'm genuinely sick of seeing his face, hearing his voice or even being told by the news about the new stupid shit he said today. I'm sick of the people who idolize him when it should be so blatantly obvious to anyone with even a shred of human decency that every word in OP's post is accurate.

This man is the embodiment of our inadequacy as a species.

[–] hancock@retrolemmy.com 33 points 3 days ago (3 children)

Getting you overwhelmed is a strategy do not give in its tough seeing every single day something cruel and stupid. I am tired of him too. But i won't block or filter him. We should not look away.

Don't bury your head in the sand, but also know your limits. It's okay, and even desirable, to unplug from what's going on in the world for the sake of your mental health from time to time.

Well said. Honestly, I feel very strongly that this is not an overreaction compared to what he has said and done over his lifetime. Truly a vile human being at best.

[–] bluecat_OwO@lemmy.world 13 points 2 days ago (1 children)

as a non american, I think this is my exact image for trump. From the way he walks, talks and exist, I think he is a disgusting immature buffoon

the accuracy is uncomfortable...

I feel the righteous fury...but they forgot about the rape and pedophilia

[–] sausager@lemmy.world 51 points 3 days ago (8 children)

This is beautiful. The only problem with this, and Jack White's recent trump comment, is that they have too many words. Meaning republicans will never read them.

Just a reminder that less than 25% of Americans “voted” for Trump. And there exists real possibility that he cheated the election. A recent NSA audit shows Harris won.

Also, Trump is a child rapist.

[–] MiddleAgesModem@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

It's almost worse. 90 million don't care at all.

[–] Soup@lemmy.world 21 points 3 days ago (10 children)

People keep pointing out stuff like this but a country that has even the barest amount of collective sanity wouldn’t have even let him get beyond the party primary. 25% is a staggering number. Ya’ll I know that it still matters to say it and I’m not saying to stop but I keep hearing it in a context that heavily implies the rest of the world is ignorant for “not getting it” when we definitely already know there are good people in the US. Like, yea, you’ve got a handful of decent people but even your large number of “moderates” are capitalist Nazi sympathizers so…

[–] MiddleAgesModem@lemmy.world 2 points 1 day ago (1 children)

large number of “moderates” are capitalist Nazi sympathizers so…

What an embarrassingly ignorant thing to say.

[–] Soup@lemmy.world 1 points 1 day ago

If you look at literally anything the GOP is doing and are still on the fence you’re either impossibly ignorant or at least evil-adjacent and pretty ok with it. Being “moderate” in US politics is embarrassing as even the US “far left” is just the developed world’s center.

A US moderate is a joke.

This is the best depiction of Cheeto I've ever read.

Gerrymandering will ensure he continues to contaminate the White House.
