How unhinged do you need to be to attempt murder on someone over a FREE PARKING SPOT IN A PARKING LOT FULL OF FREE PARKING SPOTS? Jesus Christ, some people don't belong in society.

You know how road rage is a thing, but bike rage and walking rage isn't? I suspect that driving is a stress multiplier which can easily bring out the very worst in people.

No doubt. Very few people fine joy in driving. Most people would say they feel worse, angrier, more stressed, more tired, after driving.

Literally the opposite of what active transportation does to your mind and body.

But that shouldn't be an excuse for anyone to act like a maniac.

Paywall sorry can’t read

Personally I usually get around this by opening in Apple News but for whatever reason all the New York City news outlets don’t support Apple News.

The archive websites always trap me in a captcha loop due to my VPN so I’ve just given up on reading most New York City news.

Edit: Spoke too soon, I can read this article but probably due to tons of browser extensions removing the paywall. That means it’s probably just a container that can be bypassed with reader mode in most browsers.

Understandable, parkings are so rare now that they have all been turned into bike path... (just kidding, don't beat me!!)
