How many times are we going to try to make live action Tomb Raider work? The games don't even have much appeal these days.

I dunno, I really enjoyed the reboot trilogy and wish they had kept that going.
I thoroughly enjoyed the locations and puzzles, but had to apply copious layers of suspended disbelief as Lara Croft was both a vulnerable and afraid character, and an unstoppable killing machine out of an 80s action film.
I think I just liked being a girl
I was hoping for one last installment just showing her being basically as reckless like she is in the old games.
The Jedi Survivor games are also essentially Tomb Raider with force powers.
It's odd how the classic Tomb Raider games inspired the Uncharted series and those inspired the Tomb Raider reboot trilogy.
Tomb raider was a gender swapped Indiana Jones, Uncharted was a gender swapped Tomb Raider. It's like poetry, it rhymes.
Now we just need a gender swapped Uncharted, and then...
Did the Angelina Jolie moves not work?
The first one kind of did.
not sure about that casting but we’ll see i guess.
She looks like she could portray a believable Lara Croft. Good for her.
I’ve seen this floating around, but the bigger concern for people are her acting skills.
But will she keep it?
I know a lot of actors/actresses work to get their body in some role, and I can just see some producer saying 'you're too buff for the screen, lose some muscle.' Which would be so stupid.
Yep I just don't see it.
sigh...
Poor Sansa always being given a failing empire.
I hope Lara gets plenty of lemon cakes!
The story of tomb raider was always more intriguing than the game play as I absolutely hate platform games. So for me at least, could be a good thing.
I've seen castings I was more skeptical of that turned out great. I'm cautiously optimistic on this one.
