this is so cozy, I love it
related to me is falling asleep in a warm bed while snow piles up outside - especially strong when I've been unable to make it home and had to walk miles through snow and ice to get home, and then being home in the warmth is such a strongly comforting feeling.
Taking a shower. I grew up without access to one, and every day I think a little thank you to the universe that I now have the ability to enjoy warm rain inside my house whenever I want it ... it's a little miracle.
particularly for me a hot shower feels like a luxury, when I lived without them I found my depression worsened and I realized how important hot water was to my comfort and mental health, lol
The sky. Gorgeous blue with fluffy clouds, or a technicolor sunset, or stars at night - there's always something beautiful to see. Last night the moon was nearly full and had a really pretty orange cast to it. 🤎🌕
Here are a few of my favorites:
- Home cooked meal
- Listening to my kids play together
- Stretch pants (thank you COVID for making them a staple in my wardrobe)
Kissing a kitty's tummy when they let you. Hearing a kitty purr. Taking a very hot bath with bubble bath. Eating nice food you didn't have to cook. S'mores.
Food you don't have to cook! Yes that is bloody lovely
I love to cook the food for people so they experience this, it's funny how I feel more strongly about being the cook than I do about the eating 😅
Having a lovely cup of tea and a nice snack. Making people laugh. Clean bedsheets. Oh, and cuddles with your pet!
omg the clean bedsheets, when freshly shaven legs slide into crisp, fresh sheets its like an orgasm
Yep and I slide my legs all around, my husband calls it cricket legs haha
