Oh, that's the famous Sherlock Holmes fanfic author, right? And occasionally Batman fanfic!

Likewise, Tyrannosaurus Shirt should be shortened (and italicized) to:
T. shirt
not
Tshirt
T-shirt
T-Shirt

Fake.

First, Corythysaurus would have blasted his ass with a sonic boom before he could even have really started. Seriously. BLASTED. HIS. ASS

Second, they loved about 10 million years apart. That may not seem like much to us fellow humans, but in dinosaur years, its scientifically notable.

Finally, while T. rex's English was quite good, it's vocabulary was limited. source

Second, they loved about 10 million years apart.

But people say love can overcome anything; what's a mere 10m years?

When they make the movie The Time Traveler's Dino, will it be animated or CGI?

Presumably animated first, with an unwanted live action remake if the animated version is successful.

Not if the T. rex (see, I did it right!) countered in time with a hadouken,

^^^^
This H. sapiens didn't even italicize properly.

[–] zod000@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 4 days ago

Fixed, my most sincere apology.

[–] RampantParanoia2365@lemmy.world 1 points 4 days ago (1 children)

I'm suspicious of your apparent knowledge.

Don't be paranoid. Be like me. SCIENCE!

You have to really lean in on the words to properly express your italicized voice. You almost have to sound like an asshole. Like a somewhat sarcastic asshole..

i tilt my head 30 degrees to my right and raise at least one eyebrow depending on how high i am, kinda goggle my eyes. I guess I'm italicizing my head but it is also an inside joke.

i also talk with my hands a lot and i need to pay attention to what i do with my hands next time that comes up. it can't be as boring as finger quotes. nooooo

[–] Jerkface@lemmy.world 2 points 4 days ago (1 children)

Suggestion: put your hands up flat, palms facing each other, and sort of tilt them with your head.

I can't we have that associated with a specific high school teacher

[–] electrikitty@lemmy.world 12 points 5 days ago

Strong dinosaur comics vibes here.

[–] TomMasz@piefed.social 8 points 5 days ago

It's missing the leading "Actually..."

This sounds like an autistic rant, literally. Just going off about some societal norm like it's a sin against god, demanding names be displayed in italics, lmfao. Was pretty informational though.

[–] TrickDacy@lemmy.world 2 points 5 days ago

Never besmirch the band T-Rex.

[–] chuckleslord@lemmy.world 2 points 5 days ago

Why is this spider-man? Why is my brain telling me this is spider-man?

[–] ChaoticNeutralCzech@feddit.org 1 points 5 days ago (1 children)

If it's Latin, shouldn't we use Latin spelling pronunciation for the T? What is it?
